Shaikh Zakiuddin Syed began his profession as a Hifz teacher in India in 1995. He came to America in 1998 and continued his teaching journey, also serving as an Imam and leading Taraweeh in Dar-ul-loom Al Islamia of America in California. In 2005, he joined IANT Quranic Academy (IQA), where he taught Hifz-ul-Quran and led the Hifz Department for 11 years.

Later, in 2016, he founded the Institute of Quran Memorization with the dream of guiding students not only to successfully memorize the Holy Qur’an but also to launch a supporting Academic program for Huffaz. His goal is to see his students succeed in both the religious and worldly spheres. He has trained and graduated numerous students who have gone on to lead Taraweeh prayers and participate in Quran recitation competitions. He also ensures that each student not only memorizes the Qur’an but also develops a deep connection with its meaning and practice.
